My name is Jeannette and I'm a "city" girl born and raised in Tampa, FL. I moved to northern California three years ago with my wife Melissa and my furry daughter Havana. We currently call
Roseville home, which is located in the Sacramento Region.

Since moving here I have been exposed to so many new experiences and sites. I have fallen in love with northern California's wine country full of rolling and seemingly endless hills, it's beautiful hiking trails, it's glorious rivers with their massive boulders. I have come to appreciate nature for all the wealth and peace it brings me.
My soul has received a calling to "learn the land". To live a greener and sustainable existence. Having no real experience, I am learning from day one. Cultivating my mind, while cultivating the earth :)
I am not much for words (ha! I'm writing a blog) and usually express myself through art. I have a love for photography, running, drawing, music, coffee, food, reading and technology.
